Progress by 107yearoldvirgin

Let’s see how the Author describes this story: A BxE debacle of love. "There's no real diagnosis. He's what we affectionately call a 'sleep humper'." Kinda just makes your mouth water doesn’t it???

One thing that I really hate is waiting for updates. So in a search for COMPLETE stories, I ran upon “Into the Mystic” written by this fabulous Author 107yearoldvirgin. What an AWESOME Story – if you haven’t read it, you should. “Into the Mystic” is COMPLETE and even the sequel (equally awesome) “A Good Year” is COMPLETE. So if you have an issue with updates, I urge you to check them out.

Ok, because 107yearoldvirgin is so good – I (of course) am reading her new story “Progress”. Let me tell you children, if you are not reading “Progress”, you are missing the boat. Let's just sum it up in 2 little words – ‘Sleep Humper’. That being said I expect you to read this one right away. When I read those 2 words in the description I was intrigued. I HAD to know what a sleep humper was. I have never heard of one before – and knowing that said humper is Edward made me that much more curious. I’m not going to tell you here what it is – you will just have to read this story and find out!

107yearoldvirgin’s use of humor is refreshing. I know, we all like angst, and we all want the lemons. But 107yearoldvirgin has been able to combine the three (angst, lemons and HUMOR) beautifully. This story is extremely comical and there are only 6 chapters written so you will actually be coming in near the beginning. I have to hand it to the author; so far, she has been quick with the updates. I have followed her since she started “A Good Year” and she was quick with those updates too. I think this is a serious author who isn’t just playing around. I think she is dedicated to her readers and I appreciate that! I love this story and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I did a little mini interview with the author I thought you would like to hear what she had to say:

Q: How did you start writing Fan Fiction?

107Yearoldvrigin: Hmmm, I actually started writing fanfiction because my husband has a pretty nasty PS2 addiction. I needed a new hobby, so I got directed to FF to read TheOffice and I'll Be Your Lover Too. (The hubs reaped the benefits of that...LOL)I was also making jewelry at the time, but I haven't beaded a thing in over three months. I have a pretty dry sense of humor, and the thing that struck me most about the Twilight books was that Bella and Edward both had a healthy sense of humor... The parking lot scene where E won't let B go around his car until she gets asked to the dance had me on the floor. I decided they could be funnier, though. And just slightly more damaged:)

Q: Do you aspire to write professionally?

107Yearoldvirgin: I used to aspire, and when I was younger I actually started about ten novels, but quit. Now people just laugh at my blogs because my life is effing ridiculous! Into the Mystic was an attempt at saving my sanity from awful work related things. And A Good Year was requested, so I obliged. Progress is just all of my Perv Cube stuff being written out for the world to see. I read other stuff on FF and blush because people like Inabluebathrobe and coldplaywhore make me feel insignificant, to say the least.

Q: If you could say one thing to your readers (fans) what would that be?

107Yearoldvirgin: I only get to say one thing? I'm pretty verbose; I guess I would tell you that I am shocked to think that I actually have fans! I want my readers to know that anything I write is for you guys because I want to make you laugh or cry or feel like you need a cold shower. 'Cause I love you like a fat kid loves cake. And icing. And tater tots. And leave love...it really makes a writer want to continue on with the story.

I looked for her on Twilighted and didn't find a thread (107 if you have one let me know and I will post it here)

I also looked for her blog and came up short. I did a Google search for her pen name. The amount of sites that list 107 year old virgins are ridiculous. (107 if you would like your blog link here let me know and I will post it here)

Go read this story - I give it 10 or of 10 stars!!!
