String Theory

I don't know how many of you are familiar with TheLadyInGrey42. I have reviewed her before here on SFFR. I like to consider her a friend. One thing that I didn't know about her is she has a Physics Degree. I knew she was smart - but it's always fun to find out information like this. It shows that not all people who read/write Fan Fiction are incompetent. Some of us are pretty smart (not that I am smart or anything).
In the beginning of String Theory we find out that both Bella and Edward are a little geeky. They are both in a PhD program. Bella likes The Muppets, she is shy and quiet and incredibly beautiful (according to Edward), but she has some problems at home that make it a little bit difficult for her to be sociable. Edward is the classic geeky guy. He is beautiful (because he is Edward) but he is also shy and self conscious and there is one other little problem - he's a virgin... He is desperately "in lust" with Bella.
In this story we find that although Edward is a little geeky, he is also extremely dedicated and loyal. So much so, it might cost him everything. Bella is shy but she thinks Edward is the "cat's meow" and even though she needs to be rescued, that doesn't mean she won't do everything in her power to rescue him right back.
This story is sweet and so heart warming! TheLadyInGrey42 is a talented storyteller and she makes you fall in love with both of her main characters. There is even one of her minor characters (Jasper) that I am so in love with!! There is a little mild angst in this story, but I can tell you that the EXTREME HEAT is worth a little angst. And what is fan fiction without a little angst, right??? I can honestly say it has one of the hottest scenes in it that I have ever read in Fan Fiction!
I think you will love String Theory - and if you pay attention to the author's notes at the top, you just might learn something along the way!!
